Admin Assistant Bookkeeper-Newcastle

ADMIN ASSISTANT/BOOKKEEPER – NEWCASTLE

Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00am to 1:00 (Half day)

6 month temporary contract, with a view to permanent placement

Tasks:

  • Type minutes of meetings
  • Arrange items to be couriered to Head office or parts for repair
  • Managing maintenance equipment stores – issues, orders and stock count, reconcile
  • Stationery and cleaning materials– order and maintain stocks
  • Petty cash – issue cash and do month end recon and report. Manage spending
  • Match supplier documentation together for processing in Head office eg delivery note with invoices and orders. Checking details
  • Purchase of office supplies, collect post, car license renewals
  • Supervise cleaner
  • Report and follow up on telephone and computer faults
  • Assist logistics co-ordinator
  • Assist with typing of Internal procedures and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Collate sales documentation, suppliers invoices, salaries to be processed at Head Office
  • Creditor account queries

Skills:

  • Friendly, polite and helpful
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, Systematic
  • Excel and word
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Minimum 3 years experience

Non smoker and must have own transport and live in Newcastle
