REQUIREMENTS
- Current National CCA / N. Dip or B.Tech certification
- Certification must be current with all applicable education/recertification requirements completed. You will be required to maintain your qualifications for the duration of your employment.
- 5 years experience in the medical field as a Paramedic
- MUST have active road experience within the past 12 months
- Licensure must be current with all applicable education/recertification requirements completed
- Previous instructor experience an advantage
- Valid South African Driver’s License (PDP Preferred)
- Excellent Driving Skills with no record of accidents within the last 5 years. (Will be confirmed during pre-employment checks)
- 4 years supervisory experience
- Strong leadership skills with sound business acumen.
- Have good Administrative Skills
- Hardworking and willing
- Current South African Police Clearance (within last 6 months) or ability to obtain one.
KEY WORK OUTPUTS
- Efficient and Effective Management of Emergency Medical and Trauma calls, as per Company Standards, Policies and Procedures.
- Safe Operating of Company Vehicles and Equipment as per Company Policies and Procedures
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Skillful management of patients, complying with clinical governance guidelines as set out by the Health Professions Council of South Africa
- Good communication skills with colleagues, Hospital staff and Doctors
- The ability to see, pursue, develop and acquire new Business
- Support and Supervise less experienced staff
- Must be able to inspire, motivate, develop and lead other staff to ensure efficient clinical and professional Emergency Medical Care
- Be able to operate in Emergency Medical Care situations use your skills, protocols and professional findings
