MUST LIVE IN CAPE TOWN - PROJECT ENGINEER [New Product Introduction - AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY] - Job Purpose: exciting opportunity exists within the Engineering Department. Suitably qualified individuals that meet the following criteria Key Performance Areas: Plan/coordinate the introduction of new products/processes & engineering changes - Develop& review project timing plans - Build strong relationships with customers, global business units & suppliers - Develop& maintain process documentation - Design& procure prototype & new product tooling - Develop specifications (design input), procure & commission manufacturing equipment - Project cost control Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Btech/ND Mechanical Engineering qualification/equivalent - Min of [3] years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment - Project Management experience - Design/drawing experience [AutoCAD/Solidworks]
Further Requirements: Must be self-motivated, confident, resourceful, willing to take initiative, technical leadership, strong communication skills, initiate& implement creative solutions, strong admin/organisational skills - Must be a South African citizen - Must have reliable transport -
