I am a petrol and diesel mechanic with over 23 years experience doing the following duties: • Undertaking all repairs to engine, gearboxes, diffs, steering boxes and pumps • Correcting vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. • Ensuring that the customers’ vehicles booked for service and repairs are done on time and that all job cards were completed for costing • Ensuring that all work that comes into the workshop is undertaken within budget costs to the satisfaction of the user department I hold a Grade one Motor Mechanic, including Diesel and Tractor Mechanics Certificate Issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Zimbabwe.
