CNC Lathe Turning Artisan

Basic Requirements

Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12 Qualified Artisan: Toolmaker/Fitter & Turner
Experience:

2 - 5 years experience in Machining / Tool making environment
Minimum of 2 years in CNC programming and machining

Computer Literate
Languages:

English - Read, write and speak (required)
Afrikaans - Read, write and speak (optional)

Drivers Licence: Code 8- (required)

Job Objectives

The Successful Incumbent (Toolmaker/Fitter & Turner) must be competent in reading mechanical drawings, actual planning and completion of the task as set out on the aforesaid drawing.
Be responsible for programming and operating the CNC Lathe, for all components to be manufactured.
He must maintain quality as well as tolerances as stipulated for all tasks assigned to him and complete tasks as per project timing requirement

Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No. 55 of 1998
