Job description
Responsibilities and duties will mainly consist of, but will not be limited to:
• Actively looking for new clients in need of advertising agency
• Selling advertising packages for print and online media over the telephone and face to face
• Actively and effectively manage publication timelines, deadlines and payment dates
• Reception desk duties, including welcoming clients, receiving all incoming phone calls and answering emails
• Using Excel, Word and Powerpoint for admin related tasks
• Drive and collect/drop off of products, documents and other goods from suppliers, clients, publishers, business partners and others in and around Cape Town

Requirements
Amongst other skills and experience, the successful candidate should have the following minimum requirements:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Professional and persuasive telephone manner
• Experience in and a natural aptitude for sales
• Enthusiastic and target driven
• Ability to think 'outside the box'
• ATTENTION TO DETAIL
• Advanced MS Office skills- MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint

Advantageous
Pastel
Degree or diploma in Marketing
Knowledge of advertising and print media industry
Sales experience in the media industry (advertising, events, exhibitions, conferences etc)
