Call Centre Team Leader 

Our client, a Life Insurance Company in Sandton is currently seeking the expertise of a Call Centre Team Leader to oversee the operations of a Long-term insurance call centre. 

MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS; 
RE 5 Qualification 
FAIS Compliant 
2 YEARS Telesales Experience 
Minimum 3 years’ experience in team management in sales environment; Minimum 2 years’ experience in Telesales environment. 
Must have experience working within the financial services environment (Long-term Insurance).

Key responsibilities: 
Management of daily operations; 
Plan and implement a strategy to utilise resources to obtain maximum productivity; Recruitment and training of new staff; 
Ensure adherence to legislation; 
Managing complaints and brand reputation; Prepare reports for various stakeholders; 
Evaluate performance with key metrics (e.g. Call waiting time, conversion rate etc.); Monitor sales interactions to improve quality and minimise errors; 
Regular review of staff performance and identify training needs; 
Management of leads to generate sales and set standard conversion rates for each sales agent; 
Implement sales targets for Sales agents, monitor targets and effect corrective action if targets are not being achieved; 
Management of operational requirements to ensure processes are effective; 
Minimum Requirements 
Grade 12 or equivalent; FAIS Compliant; 
RE qualifications; 
Minimum 3 years’ experience in team management in sales environment; Minimum 2 years’ experience in Telesales environment; 
Proficient in relevant computer application and call centre systems; Clear Criminal and Credit Record; 
Must have experience working within the financial services environment (Long-term Insurance).
