Human Resource Manager

Human Resource Manager – R15 500pm

Requirements:

  • Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management essential
  • 3 – 5 Years in Generalist Human Resource Management of which at least 2 years must be in a management/leadership capacity (Specific exposure gained in Retail/ FMCG would be an advantage)
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to successfully work with people
  • Strong orientation to follow instructions and procedures
  • Strong adherence to principles and values
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport

Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Ensuring a competent and productive workforce through:
  • The identification and selection of quality candidates
  • Ensuring that career-path development and succession planning is effectively implemented
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of CBT (Competency Based Training)
  • Ensuring performance contracts are in place
  • Effective implementation of Retail Management Program and Management Development Program
  • Effective implementation and use of the Performance and Development Management System
  • Monitoring of the HIV\AIDS Awareness Program
  • Monthly Human Resources reports and reconciliation of personnel accounts
  • Monitor trends internally within the Stores
  • Accurate processing of all HR Administration functions such as minutes, warnings, investigations, leave, casual wages etc.
  • Ensure the induction of new employees
  • Managing the Human Resources team
  • Liaise with HR Team and relevant Line Management in solving HR related issues in the business
