Roles & Responsibilities
- Technical skill set to drive the business toward success.
- Strong organizational and priority setting skills.
- Ability to determine availability based on booking guidelines.
- Handling group inquiries with adequate response time.
- Follow-up of proposals, phone calls, and inquiries.
- Cold calling of potential clients & generating new leads
- Client visits & follow ups
- Quotes & Invoicing for queries
- Field sales and maintaining of existing guest relationships
- Attending of external tradeshows, exhibitions & events to generate new leads
- Responses on social reviews and engagement from guests
- Involvement and visibility in local hospitality and tourism industry when needed.
- Maintain files & tracking of activities such as print inquiries, tourism visits, etc.
- Digital platform and website management and social media platform maintenance.
- Social Media - Completion of tasks set out by manager for the week in terms of social media posting & engagement.
- Content generation & customer engagement.
- Build & put together reports & research requested by managers on social platforms as well as feedback on events.
- Monthly sales and marketing reports
- Attend meetings with Sales & Marketing Manager as requested to communicate groups and events.
- Ensuring that the cafe is informed, updated of current events and to ensure the correct execution of events, new menus updates, LTOs etc.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring that managers and/or clients possess the pertinent information for the execution of a success venture
- Understand the brand & tone when representing the brand in any avenue
- Fulfill any additional requirements requested that is in line with your position expectations
