Second Line Support Engineer - Hybrid / Remote

About The Job

@Uptime provide white label Staff Augmentation, IT Support and NOC services to MSPs enabling them to extend the services they can offer their customers. This role involves working with a leading US based MSP.

Training and development are in our core values.

These roles are US - Eastern time. Various shifts available

Responsibilities

Providing 2nd Line support to a large client base (SME). Being able to act as a skilled point of escalation is key. An MSP background is preferred.

Skills
  • MS Windows Server: 2012, 2016, 2019.
  • Microsoft 365.
  • Azure & Azure AD.
  • Microsoft 365.
  • MS Exchange 2010 and above.
  • Remote Desktop Server implementations.
  • Networking - VLANs, Routers / Bridging.
  • Security - Firewalls such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco.
  • Endpoint protection, AV
  • Security best practices.
  • Virtualisation Hyper V & VMware.
  • Backups.
