We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic person to join our team of academic writers.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Academic Author will form part of a team of authors that will be working on academic projects, based on their field of study. These projects will last 2 months at a time where certain writing deliverables have to be met. The position would be ideal for someone who has just graduated or someone who is looking to make an additional income. You will be able to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, as long as you have access to a computer, internet and the relevant resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Create supplementary academic material for a specified field of study
•Ensure that content is correct, accurate and of high quality
•Meet weekly deliverables that will be determined by Content Manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•A degree from a recognised tertiary institution in one of the following fields of study:
Psychology, English, Law, Engineering, Business Management, HR Management, Mathematics / Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Financial Accounting, Biology, Marketing
•Minimum of 70% for specified field of study
•Excellent writing and communication skills
•Computer literate
•Passionate about education
•Self-motivated
•Ability to work under pressure and reach deadlines
