Account Manager

The AM will focus on a) maintaining multi-touch relationships with existing customers b) generating new opportunities within existing accounts by presenting relevant products and services, and c) ensuring minimal churn. The approximate blend of work is 80% Account Management and 20% Business Development with new or potentially new customers.

Besides building trust relationships with customers, they have to be able to understand the needs and goals of these customers, and use that to introduce Turrito products and services.

We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious and self-driven Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with our customers, build relationships with them and help them achieve their goals.
  • Roles and Responsibilities
    • Meeting (physically and/or virtually) your accounts and reinforcing the Turrito value proposition with the intent of gaining new business
    • Ensuring that customers are made aware of new solutions and products that they can benefit from and stay ahead of the curve
    • Populate reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
    • Developing trust relationships with your portfolio of new and existing clients to ensure they do not cancel or churn
    • Acting as the key interface between customers and all relevant internal divisions
    • Provide regular and meaningful communication at all times
    • Achieving your monthly and annual targets as per your Sales Compensation Plan (Monthly Meetings, Pipeline Growth, Targets and all other related KPIs)
    • Maintain and develop customer prospect pipeline for the future
    • Assist with planning and carrying out sales activities eg. Online and physical events
    • Develop proposals and compile customer contracts for new sales/ upgrades
    • Respond to and follow up sales enquires telephonically, via email and personal visits
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong ability to build trust and generate new business
    • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
    • The ability to be and remain self-motivated.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
    • Excellent administration skills.
    • Strong ability in objection management and negotiation.
    • The ability to acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
    • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
    • Essential to have sales or solutions architect experience in the IT Support and/or Telecoms industry
