Volschenk Rekenmeesters is a well-established professional accounting firm based in the Overberg area, Western Cape that offers Accounting, Tax and Payroll services. We are seeking qualified Accountants to join our team.
As an Accountant you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Full bookkeeping and accounting functions ● Prepare and submit returns ●Perform statutory work ● Preparation of annual financial statements and accompanying working papers ● Resolve queries ● Income tax calculations and submissions ●Administrative duties
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent ● Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles ● Excellent time management skills ● Fluent in Afrikaans and English ● Ability to complete tasks in given timeframe ● Attention to detail and a commitment to produce accurate work ● Hardworking, reliable and able to take initiative ● Must be able to work under pressure ● Computer literate ● Good communication and interpersonal skills
