Accountant/Bookkeeper Hybrid (Potchefstroom Only)

We are a growing and dynamic accounting practice seeking a Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is suited to a motivated professional based in Potchefstroom and offers a hybrid working position.

Key Responsibilities:
Capture and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Process supplier invoices, customer billing, and payments
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare and assist with submission of VAT returns (VAT201)
Assist with PAYE, UIF, SDL, and EMP submissions
Support payroll processing and employee records
Prepare month-end journals and basic financial reports
Use accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Pastel)
Ensure SARS compliance, accuracy, and deadline adherence
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and accountants as needed

Minimum Requirements:
13 years accounting experience
Based in Potchefstroom
Experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail
Reliable internet connection
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
