Job Title: SAICA Trainee Accountant

Job Type: Full-time, Trainee Accountant

Responsibilities

• Completing SAICA Articles training program under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
• Conducting audits and assurance engagements in compliance with auditing standards.
• Participating in client meetings and liaising with clients on financial matters.
• Developing a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and auditing procedures.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Working collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality service to clients.
• Actively pursuing the completion of the SAICA qualification requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong academic record with a minimum of 65% aggregate for all subjects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is an advantage but not required.
