Job Description
Vision Elevators has an exciting position, We are hiring an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping
- Passing journals
- Bank statements processing
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Following up on outstanding customer invoices.
- Handling petty cash and staff expense claims.
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Payroll & Tax Compliance
- Monthly and weekly payroll processing
- Preparing and submitting EMP201 and other statutory returns (MEIBC and NUMSA)
- Ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Financial Reporting & Support
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts..
- Providing administrative support to senior accountants or finance managers.
- Procurement & Inventory Support (If Required)
- Assisting in procurement by verifying supplier invoices and purchase orders.
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory management.

Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
- Strong numerical and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
