Admin assistant required

Inbound tour operator is seeking to employ a strong junior admin assistant to join their busy operations team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Performing general administration tasks
  • Contacting service providers to make suitable arrangements, hotel availability checks
  • Booking requests - accommodation, golf, transport, transfers, tours, tour guides and activities
  • Handling of bookings with various service providers
  • Using the computer database to research information about hotel accommodation fares/ hotel ratings/ availability
  • Handling live client queries/ booking requests
  • Making alternative arrangements for customers who have had their trips interrupted by unforeseen issues (Cancellation requests/Changing of Dates, etc.)
  • Double checking invoicing from suppliers that they invoice correctly as per booking request
  • Creating and designing tour packages

Salary R6000 - R8000 depending on experience in field.
