Admin clerk

Key Responsibilities1. Administering all Contract Logistics related documents as per current Processes.

  • Obtain Documents from Cargo-coordinator.
  • Confirm reciptient of manifest documents from the warehouse.
  • Verify the completeness of information on the documents.
  • Invistigate and effect corrections where necessary (NTH).
  • Capture data into Cargowise.
  • Scan documents into Cargowise (e Docs).
  • Distribute required reports to internal clients and security specialist.
  • File documentation in appropriate files.

2. Adminsitering Acquittals

  • Receive acquittals from SARS (Customs).
  • Capture acquittals on spread sheet.
  • Print releases from the JNB depot 62 releases.
  • Update releases printed according to the HAWB.
  • Update original stop notes received from customs.
  • Update hand over releases.

3. Adhere to security & safety requirements, legislation, policies and procedures

  • Keep up to date with all new developments applicable to scope of own job.
  • Operate within the requirements.
  • Immediately notify departmental supervisor and / or manager of any transgressions.
