Maitland Crematorium (ICSA) just off Voortrekker Road is the biggest crematorium currently in South Africa and the largest privately owned Independent Crematorium Company in the world to date. This crematorium is in the process of being declared a South African Heritage Site.
We are looking for the perfect candidate to fill the role as a Administration Clerk
Requirements
* Matric
* Stock control Knowledge
* Excellent Computer Literacy- MS office and Excel
* Admin Experience
Key Performance Areas:
1. Administration service support
Receive a removal request call personally or from a branch and ensure that the “First Call” sheet is completed.
Ensure client is informed of details of removal
Upload the removal details onto the Centralized Removals Calendar.
Prepare the file for the deceased and check it out to the Mortuary Manager, Funeral Arranger and Funeral Director.
Ensure that the deceased’s file contains all the information if not; task the messenger to collect all outstanding documentation.
Create purchase order for supplier and ensure that payment was made.
Schedule and control all burials, viewings and cremations for the cluster.
2.Stock Control
Order process for the cluster on system (OPS) for funeral requirements, branches in cluster admin requirements, and other requirements
Stock Control responsibilities:
- Monthly stock counts
- Count Super Branch Stock (Coffins), consumables, furniture, equipment (grave site equipment, etc, vehicles, trailers, etc.
- Consolidate Cluster monthly stock take returns.
- Investigate discrepancies.
Control approval process to finalize discrepancies
3.Customer Relation
Ensure excellent relations with clients
Assist all contract clients – Universities, Jewish Helping Hand, FMS, etc.
