Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. Our goal is to meet the growing demand for Talent in Africa and Europe; by recruiting and developing Talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa in order to service the diverse needs to enable projects at our clients. Talent employed will have the full experience of Deloitte, while getting both local and international exposure to a diverse set of clients, working remotely from Africa. Climate change is widely recognised to be a major global issue, requiring urgent corporate and governmental action in terms of emissions reductions and rapid decarbonisation leading up to 2050. As a consultant, you will help shape the Sustainability practice by sharing your risk management, GHG accounting and industry experience across a diverse range of clients, helping our clients navigate the energy transition and meet their decarbonization priorities. In addition to working on client projects, you will support in preparing proposals, client meetings workshops, research and articles. We value innovative thinking and diverse insights, inspiring growth within our practice and input into the wider ecosystem at Deloitte. About the opportunity

Be a key participant in regulatory and conduct risk related engagements including

• Regulation Mapping vs Frameworks, Policies and Procedures (i.e. EU Regulations (PSD2 etc))
• Risk and Control Matrix against key EU regulations
• Audit Report Creating and Findings
• EMI Licences Application Documentation Review
• Risk Appetite Statements
• Risk Management Frameworks
• Enterprise Exposure Reports
• Control testing of conduct risk controls, investor protection controls, TPRM, operational resilience controls
• Report writing on observations and recommendations on the above

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

• Proven experience regulatory experience within a Financial Services environment (Payments, Fintech, Banking or Insurance), as part of a Financial Services Institution, or in an advisory, law or business consulting capacity
• Third level qualification in related area
• Professional Diploma in Compliance - Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI), or other is desirable
