Key Responsibilities
User Research & Insights
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Analyze user behavior, customer feedback, and data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile banking applications.
- Design intuitive user flows and interactions that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with UI designers to ensure brand consistency and visual appeal.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align UX strategies with business objectives.
- Provide UX guidance and support during the development phase, ensuring design integrity.
- Advocate for user-centered design and accessibility best practices.
- Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to refine and validate designs.
- Monitor key UX metrics and propose data-driven improvements.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and industry trends.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of UX design experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of UX design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance considerations in UX design.
- Experience in data-driven UX design and analytics tools.
