Senior Administrator

About the Role
As a Retirement Fund Administrator, you will manage end-to-end fund administration processes, including claims, reconciliations, and reporting. This role requires a multiskilled professional with strong problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all types of claims and Section 14 transfers
  • Monthly contribution reconciliations for Pension & Provident Funds
  • Maintain member data and ensure Section 13(a) compliance
  • Prepare and check administration reports, benefit statements, and monthly reporting
  • Handle tax directives, home loans, and single premium transfers
  • Perform bookkeeper reconciliations and daily switches
  • Clear emails and queries promptly
  • Train junior staff and assist in process improvement
  • Embrace and implement Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)principles
Education
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Retirement fund qualification (completed or in progress) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with AF systems (AF Online, AF Connect, Khanya) advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in retirement fund administration
  • In-depth understanding of fund liquidations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage complex processes and meet strict deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to present in client meetings and training sessions
