Alphen Park, Pretoria East: FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY
Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable and professional individual
-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base)
-LLB Degree completed and admitted as an Attorney
-Minimum 1 year post admission experience in Family Law matters A MUST (Not limited to Divorces)
-Independently functional in compiling notices, pleadings and related legal documents
-Computer literate in MS Office
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (Firm not on bus route)
-Residing in Pretoria
-Stable employment record and contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Family Law matters
-Drafting of summonses, notices and pleadings, legal documentation relating to Family Law
-Correspondence and liaison with clients, attorneys, Family Advocate, Advocates and various experts in private practice (e.g. psychological / social / forensic)
-Court attendance with clients and advocates
-Court appearances in Domestic Violence Court
-Consultations with clients
Salary: R 18 000.00 – R 20 000.00 gross
