Assistant Accountant

Summary: A business within the Construction space based in Sandton, is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their well-established team. The successful candidate will be working alongside an energetic and dynamic team of individuals within a growing business.

Assistant Accountant Responsibilities

• Preparation of the financial statements and reports
• Management of the Debtors and Creditors books
• Reconciliation of credit notes
• Completing the VAT and Tax calculations and submissions
• Management and allocation of payments in respect of the group

Assistant Accountant Requirements

• Must have a degree in accounting or any other relative field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Finance position
• Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering industry experience is necessary
• Candidate must be proficient in Excel
• Sage 300 systems experience beneficial
