Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager – Gauteng – West Rand

REMUNERATION: Market Related dependent on Skill Set, Knowledge and Experience plus Company car, Fuel, Medical Aid, Pension Fund and Lucrative Incentive.

Our client, a Multi-Franchise passenger dealership for a well-established motor group, situated on the West Rand urgently requires an experienced, passionate, and energetic Pre-owned Sales Manager to join their successful team.

It Is ESSENTIAL That You Have a Min Of 3 Years Used Car Manager Experience In a Motor Dealership And a Proven Track Record. RESPONSIBILITES
  • Developing and upholding the business culture and values.
  • Driving the activities of the sales team, enquiry management, logs, CRM accuracies and sales process.
  • Maintaining the showroom and external forecourt vehicle displays.
  • Managing the appraisal process.
  • Used car display, presentation, advertising, website pricing matched to current market price.
  • Keeping the customer satisfaction reporting at the forefront of all customer interactions.
  • Delivery of the business vision, objectives, targets, KPIs and scorecard metrics.
  • Leading, managing, coaching, and developing the sales team, including the admin functions.
  • Custodian of all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Business generation through marketing & business development.
  • Delivering sales and profitability within the budgets set by the Group and OEM
  • Developing customer relationships and delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Manage the sales process sales team activities, CRM, overdue contacts, and regular one to one review.
  • Understanding of the online consumer journey to deliver the omnichannel experience.
  • Robust financial management including cost management, management accounts.
  • Timely and accurate reporting.
  • Legal and company policy compliance.
  • Participating in and completing the annual review process.
  • Attend any training, development, or team events as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • The ability to communicate information and answer questions about a technology, product, or service; ability to share insights and comparisons to competitor products.

  • Closes the sale, delivers a win-win outcome both for the business and the consumer.
Knowledge
  • Vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices.
  • Managing and delivering both change and continuous process improvement.
  • OEM and Group sales trading terms, policies, and processes.
  • Trade Description, Consumer Protection and FCA regulations
  • Management of Sales Execs development journey and qualification framework.
  • Sales key performance indicators and their drivers.

Experience
  • Retailer and OEM a min of 3 years experience.
  • Selling in the retailer motor industry and agency sales.
  • Working with sales key performance indicators and their drivers. Authority levels
  • To purchase other products and services necessary to the effective functioning of the department within agreed spending limits.
Staffing:
  • Authority in recruitment, retention, development and disciplining of staff, subject to involvement of Head of Business and the HR Team.
  • Experience in Drive/Kerridge
  • Automotive Industry Experience a MUST
