Looking for an audit senior/audit supervisor in Milnerton, West Coast.
Job requirements:
- Recently completed articles (at medium sized firm) and CTA.
- Must have had Maths and Accounting in Matric with a pass of 70% or higher.
- Must come from an auditing firm specialising in PRIVATE companies. Please do not apply if you worked on government entities.
- Strong Caseware and IFRS knowledge.
- Experience in managing staff.
- Wants to remain in audit profession.
- Own transport essential (including valid SA driver’s license).
- Have a consistently good academic record.
- Be fluent in English and have good communication skills.
- Be motivated and able to work independently.
- Have good time management skills.
- Be able to work under pressure.
Job responsibilities:
- Planning and managing audits.
- Performing high-level audit work.
- Reviewing work performed by trainees and audit files prior to presentation to partners.
- Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines.
- Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously.
- Managing, training and evaluating trainees in terms of SAICA requirements.
- Compliance with all accounting, auditing and other technical issues.
- Supporting audit partners on all accounting, auditing and tax matters.
