BI Technical Delivery Lead

One of our clients, a leading corporate firm in the financial services industry, is expanding their operations and seeking a talented and experienced BI Technical Delivery Manager/Lead to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery of complex BI/Data programs, ensuring successful implementation and execution within defined timelines and budgets.
• Utilise agile and portfolio management methodologies to drive project success and enhance overall efficiency.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders, connecting business demands and strategic growth with data insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data management, business intelligence, and analytical tool sets (e.g., Cloudera/Hadoop, Informatica, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data management processes and practices, ensuring data integrity, quality, and security.
• Oversee IT systems and solutions, ensuring their alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Present findings, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in agile and portfolio management, with a focus on complex BI/Data programs.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
• 5-10 years of management consulting experience, demonstrating the ability to handle diverse projects and clients effectively.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing data management, business intelligence, or analytical tool sets (e.g., Cloudera/Hadoop, Informatica, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.).
• Strong understanding of complex data management processes and practices.
• Proven ability to connect business demands and strategic growth with data insights, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent presentation skills with experience in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT systems and solutions, ensuring their successful implementation and integration.
