Blue Mining Services is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) -46%-and is managed by ARM.
Job Purpose
To effectively operate a stoping panel and/or development end during a shift by ensuring safe working practices, continuous inspection of panel and/or end conditions, planning to achieve operational targets and monitoring the availability of resources. The miner has legal accountability for stoping panel/ development end and blasting in terms of the MHSA, will be required to contribute and assist the panel team with the execution of all the panel tasks.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 10 or equivalent;
- Competent A&B certificate is a requirement;
- Blasting Certificate (DMRE/MQA Level 3)
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of one-year experience as a Crew Captain
- At least 5 years’ experience in a trackless mining environment;
- At least three years’ Platinum experience
