Bookkeeper

Leading manufacturer are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with an accounting tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 years to work at their corporate office in Mobeni.

Responsibilities

• Full accounting function up to Trial Balance
• Day-to-day accounting of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, inventory, wip, production variances, journals, etc
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Reconcile GL accounts
• Fixed asset register
• Submission of VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL returns
• Liaise with auditors
• Assist Accountant with adhoc tasks
• Reports to: Management Accountant

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary diploma or degree in Accounting (or similar)
• 5 years working experience (in manufacturing sector will be an added advantage)
• Be advanced on Excel
• Have experience working on an ERP system (SYSPRO an added advantage)

RUMUNERATION

R20, 000 (TCC)
