Position Overview
Roha SA Ingredients is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team on a half-day basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance, including processing and reconciling accounts, managing fixed assets, performing cost centre accounting, and handling foreign currency transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
- Process and reconcile debtors, creditors, bank, and cashbook.
- Process foreign currency transactions.
- Perform cost centre accounting and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records.
- Prepare and send debtors statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing and reporting processes.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc financial and reporting tasks.
- A qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance will be beneficial.
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, managing the full function up to trial balance.
- SAP experience is essential.
- Experience working with foreign currencies (EUR and USD).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and abilities.
- Ability to work independently within half-day working hours.
