Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Bookkeeper located on-site in the City of Johannesburg. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports for the real estate company. Other responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and performing data entry tasks.

Qualifications

• A degree or qualification in accounting, finance or bookkeeping with 3-5 years of work experience as a bookkeeper
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Sage One Accounting, Sageone Payroll

. DO NOT file your application if you do not have experience in Sage One Accounting

• Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial principles
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, staff, and management
• Process transactions from bank statements (Cashbook)
• Ability to decipher and allocate transactions in the income statement
• Experience with the SARS Efiling platform
• undertanding and experience in submitting VAT and PAYE returns
• CIPC company formations and annual returns submissions
