Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid role for a Bookkeeper located in Warrenton. The Bookkeeper will process payroll, day-to-day financial tasks, including recording financial transactions, processing payments and invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records for the organization. The role may also involve preparing financial reports, assisting in budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position is integral in managing the financial health of the company and supporting its mission to serve nonprofit clients effectively.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, financial record-keeping, and payment processing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple financial tasks with accuracy
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks) and tools, as well as proficiency in spreadsheets and other relevant software
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial and organizational data
  • Knowledge of nonprofit financial practices and reporting standards is a plus
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients as needed
