Your Personality
- Grade 12
- Industrial / Mechanical Engineering/Diploma or Degree
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Six Sigma Green Belt will be advantageous
- Project management experience ( A3 experience)
- Understanding of BoSLE processes would be advantageous.
- Experience in leading, implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Process (Minimum 3 years of experience)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Support the routines of the continuous improvement department, such as: updating reports, graphics, spreadsheets (excel), procedures and documents in general;
- Support activities at the factory, such as: kaizen, workshops, audits and implementation of new methodologies and concepts of continuous improvement;
- Participate in the daily meetings of the continuous improvement department, as well as level meetings on the shop floor;
- Participate in the suggestion program called Give your Idea;
- Lead presentation of Lean Manufacturing tools;
- Know the main tools/concepts of Lean Manufacturing and its applications, such as: 5S, VSM, Hoshin Kanri, Visual Management, SMED, TPM and etc...
- Implements CIP initiatives, and develops measures aimed at optimizing and improving processes and equipment together with the workshop participants; prioritizes measures, creates and implements the action plan
- Conducts common reporting i.e. analyzes data and results according to the specifications, processes and visualizes periodic reports and key figures, and supports the formulation of targets, monitoring and evaluation the achievement of objectives
