- Attending to breakdowns.
- Maintenance and repairs on Farms.
- Daily inspections.
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
- Have at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience on maintenance.
- The incumbent must have served his experience either with a Qualified Millwright, Electrical or a Fitter Artisan.
- Experience in maintaining Poultry farms will be an added advantage.
- The incumbent must have worked for at least 5 years with a qualified artisan and preferably in the food industry.
- Electrical 380v-220v systems, plumbing, mechanical and coal fired boilers and welding.
- Able to managed and control of spares for farm use and must be able to work with people.
- It is essential that the candidate have a passion for implementing 20 Keys.
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Must be able to work standby.
- The incumbent must be aware of all the safety requirements and must ensure that he and his assistant meet such requirements (OHS ACT).
- The incumbent must be able to do fault finding and must be able to make effective decisions in solving problems.
- The incumbent must be aware of all the safety, health and hygiene requirements of the particular area of activity and must highlight potentially dangerous conditions or actions and make recommendations to eliminate such hazards.
