Brooklyn, Pretoria: LITIGATION SECRETARY / LEGAL COLLECTIONS SECRETARY
Minimum Requirements:
-Female
-Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English
-Matric / Grade 12
-Minimum 3 years experience in High Court and Magistrate’s Court Litigation typing (Civil Litigation) at a law firm
-Legal Collections (Section 129) experience for Wesbank (vehicle/banking) highly advantageous, or willing to learn
-Experienced in applicable system (Smac) and bank procedures highly advantageous
-Knowledge and familiar with regulations of National Credit Act
-Good management skills
-Computer literate in MS Office
-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Professional and well presented
-Career orientated (willing to work long hours, overtime and weekends etc.)
-Own reliable vehicle (no hassles to get to work)
-Stable employment record (no job hoppers)
-Contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Typing of High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation
- Legal Collections on behalf of Wesbank (Full Section 129 procedure - vehicle / asset recovery)
-Drafting and typing of legal documents
-Management workflow of 3 staff members
-General secretarial and administrative duties
Salary: R 12 000.00 gross
Benefit: Commission on collections/fees from team (Approximate total estimated monthly income: R 15 000 - R 25 000)
