Position: Building Project Manager
Based in Ballito
Salary: R25000 to R35000
3 year fixed term contract
Preferably a elderly retired male.
My client is looking to appoint an experienced and MATURE building project manager to oversee and manage a major refurb project which is scheduled to start on the 1st of September 2017
The successful candidate must be suitably qualified in building and maintenance and have strong project management skills
DUTIES RESPONSIBILLTIES:
1. Supervise and manage all maintenance contract workers
2. Managing Sub Contractors working in the company on specific projects.
3. Working with the general manager on all on-going refurbishment plans
4. Responsible for obtaining quotes and administration thereof
5. Progress reports to be done on a weekly basis
6. Budget control (i.e. reconciliation to budget)
7. Carry out regular inspections
SKILLS:
• Building Management and Maintenance experience
• Project Management
• People Management
• Computer Skills (Micro-soft packages) for report writing
• Financial / budgeting skills
