Business Administration Intern

What To Expect

We are looking for a Business Administration Intern to assist on this CEO's office. This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate who has completed their tertiary studies in either business administration, commerce, business science, law, or similar, relevant area. You will have the unique opportunity to join Ozow's CEO Office and to play a key role in facilitating the smooth running of the Office, which interacts across all areas of the business.

In this role, you will hit the ground running this should excite you! The Office, like our Ozow incredible rocket ship, moves, learns, and adapts quickly. You will be encouraged to innovate and enhance your skillset and knowledge base. Having an agile and growth-focused mindset, we are confident that you will succeed in this role that will evolve and shift to the ever-expanding needs of one of Africa's fastest-growing FinTechs.

You will assist the CEO Office with calendar planning across the business to optimise time usage. You will communicate with the business to facilitate execution of CEO Office actions. You will execute internal and external meeting planning and logistics with minimal supervision. You will maintain a suitably organized filing system to ensure efficient access to information. You will accurately record meeting minutes, capturing all action items and business critical collaboration. You will assist the CEO office with the research and development of presentation material to support CEO Office activities and projects.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Business Science, Computer Science, Law or similar, relevant degree.
  • Any prior work experience or internships.
  • An ability to think critically, focusing on task execution while maintaining sight of the big picture.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills and Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • High energy with confident and collaborative interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Any experience within the payments industry, or at a Fintech would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to meet all deadlines.
  • A desire to roll your sleeves up and to get involved with anything and everything.
