Business Analyst

Dentsu is looking for a Business Analyst to assist the Group Financial Reporting team. The ideal candidate will need to be a team player with a high attention to detail and deadline driven.

The purpose of this role is to perform and support the group Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

• Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes
• Consolidation
• Assist in Budget and Forecasting
• Prepares relevant statutory and tax reporting
• Works effectively with other teams and stakeholders in other finance pillars
• Through their work, assist in supporting compliance with group policies on financial reporting and internal controls
• Supports the audit process, liaising with external audit on appropriate workstreams
• Perform and review Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in payment authorisation
• Ad hoc requirement

The Ideal candidate should be:

• Newly qualified CA(SA) or eligible to register
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines, especially during reporting cycles.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
