Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The role requires a proactive individual to work closely with stakeholders at all levels, translating business requirements into actionable user stories. Key Requirements
- Degree or Diploma, preferably with a focus in Information Systems (Desirable).
- Recognized qualification in Business Analysis, Agile, Information Systems, or UX (Desirable).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, particularly Scrum or SAFe.
- Financial industry experience (Desirable).
- Proficiency in translating requirements into user stories, process diagrams, and data flows.
- Knowledge of project scoping, planning, and prioritization.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to gather thorough and comprehensive requirements from stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders across business areas to elicit and document requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams to prioritize work and maximize ROI.
- Facilitate requirements gathering through interviews and workshops.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Communicate requirements effectively to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a backlog of requirements for Sprint planning with the Scrum team.
- Support Scrum teams in understanding and interpreting business requirements.
- Coordinate with the development team to estimate project timelines.
- Partner with QA teams to ensure functionality meets business specifications.
- Assist in creating user and training documentation.
- Liaise with industry partners regarding service integration and product offerings.
