Business Development Manager

A leading international chemical distribution company is seeking a driven Junior Business Development Manager to support and grow its Personal Care raw materials portfolio. The role is well suited to early-career commercial professionals with ambition to build a long-term career in personal care ingredients, sales, and technical market development.
Responsibilities

• Support Senior Business Development Managers with daily commercial activities
• Develop new business within the Personal Care sector
• Manage customer relationships and handle quotations
• Coordinate orders with logistics and supply chain
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Participate in product and commercial training to grow into an independent trader

Requirements

• Matric (essential)
• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Sales, Supply Chain, or Business (advantageous)
• COSCHEM qualification strong advantage
• 2+ years experience in sales, chemical distribution, personal care, or supply chain
• Strong communication, analytical and customer-focused skills
• MS Office proficiency; ERP/SAP beneficial
