What Youll Do
- Lead business development efforts targeting industrial sectors like oil & gas, mining, telecom, and utilities
- Work closely with distributors and channel partnersyou wont be selling direct, but youll be enabling the ones who do
- Translate technical product benefits into compelling business outcomes, especially for C-suite decision-makers
- Identify and qualify large-scale opportunities in emerging or underserved markets (UAE, South Africa, Australia, US)
- Support solution design in collaboration with product/tech teamsthink consultative selling, not pushy pitching
- Drive growth by helping partners develop new use cases and applications for the solution
- Report on pipeline, partner performance, and market feedback to shape go-to-market strategy
- 48 years in B2B business development, preferably in industrial tech, IoT, or related sectors
- A strong grasp of technology fundamentals (you dont need to code, but you should understand the product deeply)
- Experience selling in channel/distributor-led models (B2B2B preferred)
- Comfort working across emerging and developed markets
- Clear, concise communicator who can simplify tech for executives in just a few sentences
- Proven ability to sell consultatively, not just close based on price or features
- Experience with remote asset monitoring, edge computing, or AI-enabled platforms
- Exposure to hardware + cloud product ecosystems
- Previously worked in a startup or high-growth environment
