The key purpose of this role is to develop and implement Reporting & Insights to provide the Africa Zone with accurate, timely and decision-useful insights.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting in Power BI, primarily build off Azure , SQL platforms and 3rd Party Platforms
• Day-to-day management of the Power BI reporting environment, including optimization and root cause problem-solving of failures.
• Develop and maintain tools for effective data capture and information management.
• Collaborate with different functions/stakeholders to provide technology expertise for building sustainable solutions.
• Review and resolve change requests/enhancements by working closely with various stakeholders.
• Provide fast and accurate resolution to incident/service requests, ensuring a right-first-time approach.
• Handle crisis situations, such as application and data unavailability, and assist technically in recovering as soon as possible.
• Engage and build relationships across business functions, our global organization, and vendors worldwide.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of BI and Data application services.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , Sciences or Information Systems/Management
• 5-7 years experience in IT
• Experience in Power BI development and administration
• Sound knowledge of MS SQL , Power Query ,Azure Fundamentals , ADF , ADB
• Basic knowledge of SAP and ABAP will be advantageous
• Attention to detail
