Business Process Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with a strong background in retail and online fulfilment processes. This role requires the ability to translate business and technical requirements effectively, taking a customer-centric approach. You will collaborate closely with store teams, taking ownership of the process to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job Description

Provide input into finance operating plans and policies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Facilitate workshops across departments/divisions to gather and analyze requirements.
Develop clear and detailed process maps to optimize fulfilment operations.
Create business requirement specifications and work closely with systems analysts for effective communication and development.
Analyze process changes, risks, and impacts, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Develop and execute test scripts aligned with business scenarios, conducting thorough system and integration testing.
Support environment setup for business changes and ensure readiness for implementation.
Compile training materials and deliver training sessions to users.
Responsible for status reporting, issue feedback, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Support users during implementation and stabilize processes/systems post-implementation.
Analyze user issues and provide effective remedies to maintain operational continuity.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in retail/online fulfilment operations.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of retail operations, process documentation, system testing, and implementation.
Location: Must be based in Cape Town.
