- Operational Efficiency, Process Optimisation, and Ownership:
- Identify and implement measures to track and improve productivity and process performance.
- Empower business owners to optimise their business processes by fully owning and understanding them.
- Design and propose solutions to address business challenges and improve operational excellence.
- Manage the development of throughput and financial models to analyse and monitor the impact of business changes.
- Implement change management plans and performance measures.
- Translating Business Strategy, Innovation, and Problem Solving:
- Analyse, evaluate and review as-is business processes to identify business improvement areas.
- Assess business strategies and identify innovative solutions to support effective implementation.
- Develop business cases for long-term strategic initiatives.
- Develop industry-leading practices/business models to ensure that the company delivers on client needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Engage with external organisations to explore and establish strategic partnerships.
- Prepare and facilitate sessions with executive-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Project Mangers, Product Heads and Business Owners to drive the implementation of divisional goals.
- Identify and collaborate with all relevant internal Departments to inform them of the identification of opportunities and partnerships.
- Business Solution Design and Implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop end-to-end business process solutions / models.
- Work with Product Heads and contribute towards building business cases for proposed solutions, illustrating business value and cost-saving opportunities.
- Translate business solutions into requirements and document user / epic / workflow stories in line with the agreed standards and timelines.
- Work with the Product Manager and delivery teams to develop project and change plans that will guide the implementation of business solutions.
- Work alongside the delivery team to drive and track the implementation of business solutions in line with agreed timelines.
- Work closely with data specialists to execute the functional design / technical specification of data and analytics solutions.
- Work with business to understand and document their data and analytics requirements.
- A relevant post graduate degree in Engineering - General or Engineering - Industrial
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- A relevant post graduate degree in Engineering - Industrial
Experience and Knowledge
- 5 years' relevant work experience in business process design, development, and improvement
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (such as: Six Sigma, Lean, or Theory of Constraints [TOC])
- Proven experience in translating corporate strategies into business initiatives
- Experience in drafting Business Requirement Specifications/Documents and translating requirements between business and functional stakeholders
- Senior stakeholder management skills
- In-depth understanding of business process frameworks and architecture
- Understanding of change management principles and performance measurement techniques
- Understanding of the concepts of data visualisation using SQL and PowerBI
- Developing a business case
- 7+ years' relevant work experience in business process design, development, and improvement
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Agile methodology
- Experience in a corporate consulting environment with an international footprint
- Executive-level stakeholder management
- Data and trend analysis and insights in the GenAI space
- Exposure to Salesforce
- Knowledge of capacity planning tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of Process Simulation Modelling
