A temporary camera monitor position is available for 12 hour shift work from 2 January 2018 to 15 May 2018 in Germiston, East Rand.
Job responsibilities:
- Monitor camera activities from the security control room
- Reset cameras
- Monitor electric fence
- Reset electric fence
- Control entrance and exit gates
- Lock and open gates after hours
- Inspect vehicles
- Inspect local and long distance deliveries and receipts
- Inspect personal hand baggage
- Operate weigh bridge and print delivery notes etc.
- Monitor fire detection system
- Monitor fire water pump system
- Operate emergency armed response system
- Make after hours call outs (telephone calls)
- Take emergency calls and respond
- Communicate with management
- Communicate with plant personal
- Respond to any emergency situations on the site
- Occurrence book entries
- Site patrols
- Open store after hours and record issues
- Manage site key pool
- Contractor access control
- Knowledge of computer operation
