In this role, I am responsible for processing return transactions for one of Massmart's subsidiaries, Makro, using SAP and MOATS as primary accounting tools. I handle both online and in-store returns, ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed and recorded. My day-to-day responsibilities require a strong attention to detail, as I work with various accounting systems to maintain the integrity of financial records. Additionally, I am tasked with maintaining accurate financial transaction records and performing reconciliations of entries into the accounting systems. This includes ensuring that all transactions comply with accounting laws and meet reporting requirements. I rely on my knowledge of accounting principles and regulations to ensure the accuracy and legality of the financial data I manage.
