Wifi Technician

We are looking for a Wifi Technician that has experience with router installations and maintenance. You would be required have a motorcycle licence and live in Cape Town, preferably near Khayelitsha, Langa, Wynberg or Nyanga.

Job Purpose

• Responsible for maintaining and managing in-field equipment, uptime, and relevant repairs.
• Investigation of router issues, reprovisioning and feedback to head office on findings.
• Router installation projects required to expand the companys network across all relevant areas and regions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The performance of maintenance processes on all relevant equipment and hardware systems.
• The troubleshooting and consolidation of meaningful data that is useful in refining pre-existing maintenance and monitoring methods.
• The development and testing of preventive maintenance methodologies and schedules.
• Assist with the training and upskilling of maintenance teams and individuals in performing routine repairs.
• Assist with the installation of the router network, as and when required.

Key Performance Areas

• Complete maintenance assignments within the desired MTTR (mean-time-to-repair).
• Cite and report back on equipment issues as and when discovered.
• The methodical completion of maintenance checklists following the resolution of maintenance assignments.
• The systematic completion of all Quickbase / software requirements within the scope of a Technicians role.
