Role Purpose

Provide support to the Cash and Liquidity team by managing the group's cash and liquidity resources with a focus on liquidity planning and the optimisation of the liquidity profile to support group earnings.

Requirements

Qualified CA (SA) or CFA studying towards an international treasury qualification
Degree in Finance, Accounting or related
3 - 5 years' experience in a Treasury or Finance environment

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitoring and management of the daily cash management and liquidity management processes.
Preparation of management and board committee reports.
Perform cashflow forecasts and variance analysis for the group.
Cash analytics to enhance cash returns on surplus funds.
Understand the cash generation of the group and provide projections to enhance the management of liquidity.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance cash management efficiencies, including increasing cash visibility and cash coverage.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary expert teams including group tax, funding, and capital management to optimise the liquidity position of the group.

Engage with clients in a client centric manner(Client Services)

Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients
client service within area of responsibility.
Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.

Contribute to financial controls and planning(Finance)

Contribute to the strategies to grow the funds of the business.
Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
