Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Johannesburg. The COO will oversee day-to-day organizational operations, drive business planning and strategic initiatives, and ensure efficient financial and operational management. Responsibilities include optimizing business processes, managing budgets, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and enabling scalability and growth of the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry is critical.
- Proficiency in Business Planning and the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Strong skills in Operations Management, with experience in optimizing workflows and implementing best practices.
- Analytical Skills to evaluate operational data, identify trends, and solve complex problems effectively.
- Expertise in Finance and Budgeting, including financial forecasting, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
