We’re seeking a visionary CTIO to lead the design, development, and innovation of our fintech and blockchain platforms. This executive will own the tech roadmap, drive product innovation, and lead agile teams delivering high-impact solutions across payments, AI, and DeFi ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technology strategy, product architecture & platform scaling
- Oversee blockchain, cloud, mobile/web, and data security initiatives
- Drive AI, smart contract, and digital ID innovation
- Manage DevOps, engineering, and partner integrations
- Ensure compliance (SARB, FSCA, GDPR, POPIA)
- Present technology vision to board, investors, and regulators
Requirements:
- 10+ years in tech leadership; 5+ years in C-suite or senior CTO roles
- Strong background in fintech, payments, blockchain, or AI/ML
- Expertise in AWS/Azure, APIs, cyber security, platform dev
- Track record in scaling platforms and leading cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
- Preferred: Certified Blockchain Expert, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, CSM
